The rapid rise in the Onion prices has given all the commoners a run for their money, quite literally. Unlike the old times, the vegetable has now gone up to Rs 150 per kg, making it a luxury rather than a basic kitchen commodity for so many of us. Well, this issue has created a nationwide stir and people across have shown their concern in different ways. The latter is the case of Hina Khan, who shared a hilarious clip on the onion price hike, featuring her father. The video sees the Bigg Boss 11 star’s father holding a bucket full of onions, as he could be seen walking with them. In her caption, Hina Khan joked about hiding the onions in a safe because, probably, they are no less than some expensive commodity in recent times. She wrote, “Safe me chhupa do (hide them in the safe).”

The actress had earlier opened up on her experience of shooting for the video under the scorching sun. She had written, “It was one of the toughest shots for us, Shooting in almost 50 degree, top, scorching heat, storm fans making it worst cause the entire was going in our eyes, mouth and everywhere. Our makeup was melting, and the hit sand touching our feet cause we were running around and dancing almost burned them..skin peel. So to sum it up nothing comes easy, we have really really worked hard and everyone else does..but I wanted to give you the other side of the story. I know it looks breathtaking but at the same time it left us breathless while running in the hot sand.”
